Pla/Ing on spending around 150 to 200 dollars on a new baitcaster reel and rod any suggestions on rod , reel or combos id appreciate it thnks

Well I don't know what you plan on using it for, but if you wanna fish anything from spinnerbaits to worms to jigs than I would go with St.Croix's Mojo bass Spinnerbait rod. It's a 7' med heavy fast action rod. I like mine, and then I would get a shimano citica or H20 mettle. That will put you right around $150 to $200.

I would get one of the new blue academy rods and a citica. That would be about $150, then if it was still burning a hole in my pocket I would buy more lures I don't need.
