Buddy and I have been condsidering a guide trip on Fork. We r looking for someone to show us how to properly use a depth finder for deep fishing. Specifically using Lft Flutter spoons and C-rigs. I see Mr Pack and Mr Kelly get thrown around alot. We just wanna deep fish mostly. Who would y'all use? Or is there anyway someone could give us pointers and we take his boat since were only in Shreveport.

Thanks guys

Highly recommend Mark Pack (have had a few trips with him) and learned quite a bit.
Heard lots of good things about Ronnie Kelly but not had the privilege of fishing with him yet.

Take a look at Ronnie Kelley's post on here and look at his depth finder pics. I think he might know a little something about what you want to learn! LOL

I think Mark Pack has also caught a couple of fish out deep, too. When he posts, it seems Mark Pack doesn't show any pics of any fish UNDER 7 lbs!!!

Good luck,

-Alton

Stephen Fatheree is a good one. We were catching pigs in 20-30 ft with flutter spoons and big football jigs.

Eddie Garrett!! I've gone three times with him the past two months and have caught fish over 8lbs each time. He is cheaper than most guides and won't fish at all.

Pack is a beast too and seems like a nice guy, hopefully this winter I can book a trip with him as well

I believe most of the guides that frequent this site are on deep fish right now....pick one.

James Caldemeyer is a good one as well. Very knowledgeable about Fork and the deep bite. Great guy to fish with.

Lots of good ones on there and mentioned. Ronnie Kelly had been whacking them deep. Plus there will never be a dull moment. I think he could do stand up comedy. LOL!
