Who would you hire to guide you on Texoma for stripers and what would be the best time off the year.

Here's one That was kind enough to help me out with some questions.

As far as a time, I would ask the guides.

We went out with a guide named Brian Hair last year and caught about 150 fish. He's got a huge boat and seemed to be an excellent guide. My friends have used him on numerous occasions. If you would like, I can PM you his number.

As far as time of year...the fishing has been weird there this year. But, generally the best time, I think, is usually around right now. I called to set up a trip for August and Brian told me that we'd be smarter to go mid-July to catch more fish.

Any of the above and I would add Chris Carey (Striper Express: http://www.striperexpress.com/) if you prefer to lure fish. 1st week of November is a great time of year for striper at Texoma.
