 Carbon lite handles breaking

Bought three carbon lites, two gold ones and one of the new carbon blacks. All three have broken on the hookset. The break occurs right at the grip.I went to BPS and they replaced the two golds. The black broke on the first fish, will not buy another. I traded the black for a Revo. Has anyone else had this problem?

Oh, Had one Carbon reel and didn't like. I guess I got rid of it before I had a chance to break it.

Go with there Extreme or Pro Qualifier to me the Extreme is alot like the Curado I have had 3 of them for 4 years and not one single problem.

The carbon fiber handle is breaking right at the grip. I dont think its a stong enough product that they are puting in the handle part of the reel. Ive seen him break 1 out of the 3 on just a 2 pounder.

Mine have held up fine. I have two of them and have caught some pretty good fish on them. The drag is a little weak though. I probably won't be buying anymore of them though.

Bought one bps combo a couple years ago. Won't be buying another. I'd stick with abu or shimano brands.

I try and stick with shimano if i can. But for the money the pro Qualifier are prety good.
