The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our monthly meeting next Thursday night, July 7th at 7:00PM. We will be at Weekends Restaurant in Robertson Park on Lake Ray Hubbard.

We will be discussing the results of our Lake Lavon Tournament last month and our upcoming tournament on Lake Bonham on Saturday July 9th. Tournament hours will be decided at the meeting. We will also have a serious talk about fish care in these hot summer months. We will also be talking about our experiences with the PVA tournament on Ray Hubbard last month. The lake selection for Top Six tournament should be known by then as well so we will discuss our participation in that event.

We will be taking memberships as always and discussing other pressing Club business. You do not have to be a member to attend the meeting, so come on out and have some food and talk fishing!

i will try to show up to pay my respects, and offer the insights as to how Keeb and I approached Lavon. I am not fishing Bonham due to mediabass on sandlin- but will be fishing the rest of RHBC. Planning on hitting all of RHBC next year and cutting out all other tournaments until school is over.

I'll be there, Ronnie, need to hear how you did it, keeb, what kind of water, keeb. Deep, keeb or shallow, keeb. The baits, keeb.

Looking ahead to the rest of the schedule, does the RH Open count toward the mandatory six to make the club championship?

Yes. It's an RHBC tournament, It's just open to anyone wanting to fish member or not.

I will be there, maybe late, depending on work schedule as usual.

Just a heads up, Tom. The water temp last Saturday morning was 86-88. I turned my graph off around 10:30 so I don't know what it got up to. I left the livewells on all day, added frozen bottles of water ever hour and added additives every time I replaced the frozen bottles and still lost one of my five.
