why do shops always think, yep, gotta replace the whole thing. Instead of, "lets fix whats broken and leave what isn't broken on there".
I know shops have overhead to cover, but [censored], why try to gouge people that bad.
They could rebuild it and make more money than replacing it. (unless they plan on keeping your old broken one and rebuilding it so they can sell it to someone for 500). It just takes some know how. It seems "easier" for the shops to just replace stuff instead of fix stuff. I know some stuff is more feasible to replace instead of rebuild, but not a trim cylinder.
