we will be staying at the state park,any good launch ramps close that you would recommend and is it possible to get to the gulf with out much trouble. taken the boat down for the first time any help would be apreciated.

Best I know of is at the Yatch club. Cost 9 bucks, but the ramp is good and it puts you close to the jetties, the old cement ship, bolivar pocket, the gas rigs etc. etc. Dusty\P.S. Would buy bait on the way there. Kinda pricey at the club, but they do have good bait and all kinds. Shrimp was $15 a quart last week. Not sure what prices are around, but thought that kind of steep.
I told my "X" she was fat...she said she was "big boned", told her I had never seen a fat skeleton...hence..my "X". Now, I fish, therefore I eat.
