Can anybody on here recommend a good ultralight rod that won't break my very small bank? I'm talking something in the 000 - 3 weight range. I know that TFO has a Finesse Series down to 1-weight and Signature Series down to 2-weight (and closer to my price range). Does anybody have any experience with those? I bream fish mostly and my 5-weight is just a bit too much gun. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

-Tom

Pearow has some 6 foot 2wt rods that he is building up.

"4 piece 2/3 weight "seconds". These little blanks are the most limber i've ever seen; fiberglass for toughness, but very light and whippy. can build a rod for around $85 plus shipping. What a deal!!!! will make a 6 inch brim fight/feel like you have a tiger by the tail!!!"
