One of my gas tanks has trash in it because I didnt use that side all year and I was wondering if Seafoam or Sta-bil will get rid of it? If not then how do you get rid of the trash? I tried using that tank last year and I like to never got my boat started again

hate to say it, but I think you have to have it professionaly cleaned, or replaced, once a tank gets garbage in it, its really hard to get it out

By trash, do you mean fuel separation?

Kinda like honey mixing with syrup and tea colored water?

Cheapest route would be to just add a water fuel separator system. The filters will also catch the trash.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

I would get it removed. Why take the chance.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,

there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Well what happens when you dont use your tank in a very long time? Does the gas go bad? I tried switching over to that tank earlier this year and my motor sputtered and just stalled then it took me several hours to get it started after I switched back over to the good tank

With the E10 gas we have now you get phase separation. It means the alcohol and gas separates and the alcohol attracts water, so you suck up water and alcohol and dead gas into the motor. I would get a fule/water water separator if I was you. It will save you hart ache in the future.

If I remember correctly the E 10 gas is only good for a week. I run the blue fule stabil in my boat and have not had any problems knock on wood.

You can pump the old gas out and "mop" what is left out of the tank.

Have the gas removed and clean the tank. It might cost a little, but will save you in the long run.
