Thanks. I knew what it was. Just wondered if anyone is a disappointed as I am. Finally the wind lays down and we we'll run out of water!!
I know we can launch at Mustang, but I hate it down there.

It's nearly five feet low at the moment. Is Longhorn's boat ramp usable for small craft (14 ft.) at that level?

The gate to Longhorn Park was found locked at 0400 with a "Temporarily closed" sign, so the ramp didn't get tested.

The marina was also closed, and no honor box could be found. Are folks still launching there at a down-five water level?

My son launched my 22 foot Bay Stealth at the Benbrook Marina last night...but he said there are not too many days left and we will have to start going down to Mustang to launch

i had to pull my boat out of the marina there. That was last week and it was 2ft under my boat. The ramp was getting a little scarey too as is the pass from the marina out to the main body of the lake.

last time out on benbrook was middle of last week and I saw at least 4 trees sticking out in the middle of the lake and a lot of stumps just under the surface all over the place.

I saw jet skiers and ski boats flying through the area with the trees. I guess they do not realize it is a forrest 3 inches below the surface

They will when they tear up a boat or hurt someone. Son-in-law launched there 2 weeks ago with center console and said he drug bottom at the cut leaving the Marina.
