Hey sports fans, fishing on Lake Fork this past month has been spectacular for numbers and size. My dad and I have been launching by the dam at Chaney R.V. Park for the past five weekends. We are catching schooling LMB every morning from sunrise until 11 A.m. And sometimes all day long. Best lures have been weighted flukes, 10in power worms and 5 inch flutter spoons for the big girls! My most memorable experience we had at Lake Fork was catching 4-5lb schooling bass in Little Mustang Creek consistently through the afternoon on 5 in flutter spoons. It truly was a B.A.S.S. moment until Fish Fishburne showed up in 1970�s smoking mariner engine. We have caught more fish than photos taken due to Dad being on the other side of the creek. Here is what I was able to capture. Everything pictured is over 4lbs.

Today was slow we caught three over 4lbs and five between 1-3 lbs. Here is today�s only picture:



These are from the first weekend in June in Little Caney Creek (Hide Away Harbor boat Launch/ R.V.). My friend Matt caught this 4.10lb LMB on the FLY! My bass is 4.3lbs caught on rage lizard.

What a terrific report! Although I had planned on joining the ranks of kayak anglers this month, this just pushed me over the top, since Fork is my "home" water.

Ren if you showed up at the ramp with a limit of unders and ALL THE WHITE BASS YOU COULD STUFF INTO THE HULL OF YOUR YAK, I'd shake your hand and buy you a beer! If you showed up with multiple overs, well, no beer for you!
