Anyone know where to catch some kitties in San Marcos. Any spots or techniques would be greatly appreciated!

You wont find many in the san marcos river. the water is pretty cold. try canyon lake. If anything i would go towards the dam in maxwell. i have caught a couple there.

You need a kayak are jon but there in there. Chicken liver for channels and pearch for yellows have been best for me. There's also some big bass in there.

yeah i wish i had a kayak, ive caught a few small bass on a keel weighted watermelon sinko at our fraternity house, eventually i will break down and buy a kayak. i saw a guy catch a chunk atleast 4lbs on awhite frog in a kayak last week southwest of town.

If you want to catch cats try the Blanco River, under the 35 bridge, or behind River Road apts. there are some huge yellows back there. There are catfish in the San Marcos river but they population is not very large.
Life is a beach, i'm just playing in the sand.
