Any place to stay in Port Aransas that has slips with the home/condo? I've searched around a little but have yet to find anything of interest.

What you want is a little hard @ Port A unless you own the property. Go to Island Moorings Texas and it will be the first on the list. Check with them and see what they might can do...I don't think they have rental property there, but it's one heck of a marina!! Hope this helps a little..most condos, etc. just use the free ramp at the ferry landing. The nicest thing about P.A. is that almost everything is free....except Horace Cauldwell pier - LOL. Beach/surf parking is also free if you know where to go.

You have a couple of places to choose from at Port A that have boat slips. Fishngolftexas was correct about Baytree Condos. I just rented a condo there for a month and they have boat slips for rent.

You can also check Teal Harbor condos they will rent a boat slip and you do not have to be staying with them.

Clines landing also has boat slips.

you can call the harbor master at the city docks and reserve a slip for 10 bucks a night (floating docks) then stay at any of the local hotels

We always rent from the city or Woodys and stay at one of the condos or hotels.

There are some Condos for rent straight across from the city slips. How much not sure. But if you go to Port A chamber of commerce and do some searching you can find them. I on the other hand use the city slip. Cheap easy access and has electrical and water hook ups.And just stay at a nearby lodge.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to find a furnished house that will accomidate 6-8 people for a week. We make an annual trip to Cape San Blas Florida where there are several rental homes that has really spoiled us over the years. We're wanting to move out trip to Texas this fall if we can find the accomidations. The best solution is a 4 bedroom home on the water with a dock so we can park 3 or 4 boats at for the week.

KonTiki condos in Rockport has Boat Slips. It is just off 35 on the way to the Copano Bridge. We stay there a couple of times a year and it is a good place to stay.
