Bought some Seaguer Invizx from Academy yesterday and opened it today and found H20 Mono in the box......

Well what probably happened was someone switched the two lines and bought the invizx for the H2O price. Freakin cant stand liars and thieves. Why can't people just be honest and live honest. Just ticks me off. People have a sad enough conscience to do something like that.
I had a buddy who worked at basspro in their fishing section and said they would have yellow magics returned all the time. The people in the fishing section would check them and they would be a pop-r or something like that. People were buying both putting the pop-r in the yellow magic box then returning because most times the people at the return desk can't tell the difference.
Just sad that society has people like that.

I was at Academy and saw a Skeet rod that had a $18.00 price tag on it. Clearly someone changed it in the hopes of getting the rod at a steal. I just took it to the guy at the counter.

I hate people that do these types of thing. In the long run, it will hurt us all, the innocent people, because it will force the stores to raise the prices.

that is why most of the line mfgrs put a hole in the box so that the bar code is scanned on the spool not the box to prevent some of that theft.

Brother-in-law manages a Baskins westernwear store. Said thet often find an old pr. of shoes in a boot box.

Just went in to exchange and they had done this to all the 15 lb that remained. Some ole berkley mono I there this time. Just got a refund and will try later since that was all they had.

I would think Academy messed up on the wrong tag? No? The price tag was a sticker or was it a plastic tie wrap style tag?
