This moring a friend and I went out to Lake Lewisville to try and catch some sandies before it got to hot. We were on the east side of the cut and saw a few boats about 500 yard to our south that appeared to be catching fish, so we decided to move over there. When we arrived we noticed it was a guide. We put the trolling motor down and started fishing. We had no luck after about thirty min. so we decided to go do some bass fishing. About the time we decided to call it quits with the sandies the guide yelled over to us and offered to let us tie up with them and fish. He gave my friend and I each a pole and a 5 gallon bucket with about 30 shad in it. We fished with them for about an hour and caught some good sandies. Thanks to a kind and generous person we didnt get skunked. Thanks again to downwind guide service.

Kobeer gave me the same offer a while back. I was fishing anchored across the sandbar from him at the same cut. I was having no luck and he and his buddy were catching NICE hybrids. He yelled over and invited me to tie up, but I declined. Didn't want to interfere with their fishing/catching. Not many will throw out that offer.
Kobeer, I saw you out there again today and recognized your boat from that day. Saw the guide logo on your boat and put two and two together after reading this post. I was in the Key West fishing the cut this morning when I saw you.

It's a dual console, but from the angle that day it would have been hard to tell. I'll take you up on that next time I see you buddy! Y'all tore them up that day!

the fish have left that spot that we were tearing them up in, we have been catching them in 45ft of water with the fish being suspended in 20ft
