I'm trying to rig up my Fishmark 320 to my Fish cat tube. Any tips or help would be appreciated. I know usually most people use PVC.

I'm a visual person and would love to see any examples you've put together.

It actually swivels up against my rack nicely and I secure it with a bungee for transport.

Here is what I put together.....The problem though is I can't keep it vertical in the water. It wants to come the to surface horizontal and I can't keep it braced to the tube. Any help would be appreciated.

Cut the caps off. You basically seem to have a air pocket. Or drill some holes to allow water to replace the air.

I agree with mbarker68x!!!!!!What you basically have is a Transducer on a floating tube. Why do you have caps on the pvc pipes?I have the same type transducer and rigged it on a single PVC shaft extending into the water.I discarded the bracket that you would use on a boat and drilled a hole thru the end of the shaft and bolted my transducer on it . Very simple and it works fantasticly. The trans cable goes thru the bottom of the shaft and comes out the top to the unit very Portable. All you have to do is secure your unit.

You will have to cut a 1 inch x 1/4 slot after you drill the hole to allow your transducer to be able to set at the proper angle because of the cable. It is real easyto do.

I got it worked out....Now is what shows up on my finder in front or behind the tube based on the transducer location?

I pulled off most of the pool float and drilled holes in it.

The images that appear are in a cone shape beneath you approx a 30 to 40 ft. radius depends on the transducer settings.for specific objects you just have to experiment with your unit settings and just plain ol TOW

I think I would look at that cone again. I figure that at 20 feet, you have a cone that is 7ft in diameter at the bottom. Deeper it gets bigger, and shallower smaller. You might get to 30-40 feet in 60 foot of water. That is on an Eagle 320. Some cones aren't that big but the reading is more defined and vise versa. I have a Hummingbird 587 ci, that the cone is really small in shallower water. I only use it in 15+ ft of water.

I use mine all the time, even in under 10' of water, to find dropoffs and underwater structures to fish. I also like to know how deep it is. They don't guarantee you'll catch anything but I think they are pretty good for telling you where not to fish.

I still can't catch crappie.

I use my 320 in shallower water, as opposed to the hummingbird.
