Brian:
I live in Waxahachie, have an old runabout with good engines. I am retired. Could use a fishing buddy.
Welcome to Midlothian.

I'm in Midlothian just retired and chase Crappie mostly at Bardwell. Give me a shout when you're settled. I'm also wanting to learn more about Waxahachie Lake crappie as I've only fished it once. Lake Clark in Ennis is also a good lake.

Well I fish from a 20 foot center console. I have it pretty well decked out IMO. Any of you guys are more than welcome to fish with me and I'll pay for gas for a little knowledge on how some of the local lakes fish.

Cedar Creek is probably the best lake in the area (1 hr drive). They have it all. Crappie, Sand Bass and Hybrids. They are much larger also. I wish I got out there more often. The few times I have went were nothing but fun and alot of fish.

That Raiderland is one "crappie catching machine"!!

A bad day on the lake is much better than a good day at work!
