Moving the family to Midlothian in the next couple of weeks. I sure do hate to leave all the fishing buddies I've made here in Lubbock. I don't know anyone in Midlothian outside of my cousin and his wife. If anyone fishes this area I'd love to meet some local anglers. I guess I'll be fishing Joe Pool a lot but I like to hit up Whitney for the stripers too. I really don't know what I'm going to do with myself now that I'm moving to an area that has a lake every few miles. I'm used to West Texas fishing which is a lake about every 100 miles or so. smile

Lol I am sure you will adjust to the to scenery and variety back east. I am from DeSoto and I miss all the local fishing spots in the area . I have been in Lubbock almost a year and I am still adjusting . Other than Alan Henry and Buffalo what other lakes or bodies of water are out here Raiderland?

I have forgotten what rain sounds like since I have moved to Lubbock lol.

Semi-close by? White River is about an hour. Oak Creek is about 2.5 hours away. OH Ivie about the same. Problem is all of them are about to dry up and they are going to start drinking Alan Henry dry here pretty soon. The lack of lakes is one of the major factors in us moving. Stamford and Miller Creek are also options but are even further than other lakes.

As for everyone else around Midlothian I look forward to meeting y'all. Can't wait to get down there and wet a hook.
