Going to Lake Mackenzie next week near Silverton. Anyone heard about the crappie fishing lately? And how about the lake level?

I fish Lake Mackenzie often. Its been a couple months since my last trip, but boat ramps were open, crappie house was floating. There are crappie, but i havnt pulled a keeper out of that lake in over a year. Most are at 9 - 9.5 inches. Wwe dubbed them "mackenzie specials" lol
There is an area west of the "beach" that is full of submerged timber, that feeds into what used to be a creek. Not sure how deep it is now, but all the tree's look like a good spot to find some crappie. report back and let us know how you do
