Fish are everywhere! Hit two of my favorite spots and fish were stacked on both. Caught fish on 85% of drops and 30% of drops resulted in doubles. Great day on the lake with fellow TFF'r GasPasser! Caught well over 200 fish from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The action was so heavy, I forgot it was HOT Here is pic with my daughter and two person limit! Got to love the Terrova with Ipilot and Humminbird with Side Imaging!

Way to go Pitt!!! I was out there today too. Fished the old dam cut with the wife and kiddo. We found them stacked up and killed them as well. We fished Ray Rob yesterday afternoon and didn't boat but a few. My wife apparently watched me slabbing yesterday. Today I was casting at little pockets of top water and looked over to see her slabbing, well at least her version. I was about to get onto her because her technique was a little crazy to look at, but I have to say she was catching doubles while I was struggling to hook up. She and our little girl had a blast! Wife probably out did me by a 3:1 ratio, but in my defense I was having to play guide and take the fish off the hook. Great day on the water!

Number9, I know the feeling. I took a few newbies fishing Monday evening and they were reeling in doubles for about an hour. I didn't catch a single fish. I rigged there poles with the same set-up I had. At the begging of the fishing trip I kept giving them pointers and quickly realized that I needed to figure out what they were doing different that was so effective. I never figured it out. I guess it was just one of those days for me.

Spro, I had quite the audience out there as well. Several others fishing, but not catching many. Fjackie, All tackle was from FBN. Fished a fly 18 inches above a slab. Yesterday they liked the pink flies and slabs best.

I have had several people ask me what I caught the fish on. I was using the SSS slab from Moestackleshop.com with a fly tied above it. You can also use a plain hook with a 2 to 3 inch platic bait tied above too. We caught about 70% of fish on slab and 30% on fly.

is the old dam cut producing much right now? I have been hitting the humps to the east of them and not been doing so great. usually only one hybrid per visit. I'm using Moe's slabs and flies on a pole with live bait a couple of cranks off the bottom. Mostly just been anchoring in the middle or side of the boat show. Is the 121 dam cut worth going to for hybrids?
I can find the sandies any day but am looking for better and bigger fish right now.
