I've lived most of my 43 years in Fort Worth, but I can never recall visiting this place. I decided to get the kids out of the house on the spur of the moment today and take them to the Nature Center. It did not disappoint. It was hot as heck, but it was so beautiful that the kids didn't even complain. We spent 4 hours exploring and saw lots of amazing things. I highly recommend it if anyone needs a great day on a tight budget!

Howdy, neighbor (I'm in Saginaw, as well.)! You know, I've lived in DFW most of my life and never been there. We really enjoyed it and will be going back. I'd really like to get out and do some exploring via kayak.

Go during the fall and you won't believe the giant bucks out there. During the rut you can get some amazing photos.
Used to have a place about a 1/4 mile from there they were trapping pigs and moving them because there were so many.

Its also the largest city park in the USA,
