Going to lake Palestine to set up new tackle shop and thought I would take my boat. Any ideas where I might look for Sandies? I have never fished this lake so any suggestions would be appreciated.

First stop would be the 155 roadbed parallel to the long bridge. There are two sections of old bridge , I forget the exact count but something like 17 sets of pilings from each end.
Around the mouth of ledbetter cr, there is an island , there are some good dropoffs to the south and east of that island.
Any hump or ridge in 17-20 ft water should be holding fish.
