Going to lake Palestine to set up new tackle shop and thought I would take my boat. Any ideas where I might look for Sandies? I have never fished this lake so any suggestions would be appreciated. helpsign helpsign

First stop would be the 155 roadbed parallel to the long bridge.
There are two sections of old bridge , I forget the exact count
but something like 17 sets of pilings from each end.

Around the mouth of ledbetter cr, there is an island , there
are some good dropoffs to the south and east of that island.

Any hump or ridge in 17-20 ft water should be holding fish.
