Ok I could use some help...

Whenever I fish Tawokani or Fork I can catch bass left and right using watermelon red lizards and plastics but when i try using those at arlington or Joe pool, I don't get a quarter of the hits. Is it due to the color of my bait based on the water clarity?

& if so...any recommendations on different bait/colors?
Thx

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

Its a confidence thing, I think if you get most baits withing a largemouths strike zone they will swipe at it more often than not. I fished with a guy this weekend who's confidence bait was and old school purple/white worm. The water was very clear and I would never think to use that color worm in the color water we were fishing but he ended up catching just as many if not more fish with that than with plastics in natural colors that are "supposed" to work better in clear water conditions.
