A good buddy of mine was lost on Wood Island last weekend. Incredible athlete, father and just all around guy's guy. He'll be greatly missed...leaves behind a wife, 2 beautiful daughters and an unborn child.  Y'all be safe out there...anything can happen at anytime. Lubbock Mans Drowns in Oklahoma Lake

Heart breaking deal... I've been on Wood Island a dozen times and never saw anyone have any trouble. You never know, I guess. Prayers lifted for this gentlman's family and friends.

Way to young and I doubt he thought of anything other than the Nephew, That's a He%% of an uncle right there. Prayers for the Family and especially the Nephew.
There was a post on here somewhere that a couple of guy's where "kinda" making fun of, about water hazards and safety. Anything can happen, even to a "man".
