they any good or junk?...i know where i can get a good one cheap!....i posted this in the rod and reel section yesterday and never got any replies...just wondering if i should save my money or go ahead and get it...by the way its still new and he is asking $70 for it

My son has one of the Hot rod crankin rods, he likes it and I use when he isn't with me. I have one of the Carolina rig rods as well. Good rods IMHO.

I do believe they are made by Custom Angle Rods out at Lake Fork. I think the company was or may still be owned by Ex-Elite Angler Corey Waldrop.
I know I used a couple of them when I fished with Clint Wright at Fork a few years ago. Nice rods and the spiral wrap is a very nice concept.
