If you think you have a chance at the STAR, good luck.

It all comes from Houston. As we speak trout are alive in oxygen tanks getting fat on crab meat and waiting until Sept. 3

It's rigged. Star tourney is kinda like online poker. It's fun to play, but impossible to win.

Good Luck;)

It's rigged if you can pass a lie detector test..... btw, there has already been a 9lb trout weighed in that was caught in the surf at Surfside.

You can keep up with everything right here: http://www.ccatexas.org/CCATexas/2004_Leader_Board_Standings.asp?SnID=1327421165

Can't speak about it being rigged as I've never even come close to catching a STAR caliber fish. I do know a guy who's wife caught a tagged red a couple years ago. Won the truck/boat combo and sold both. I think they said the taxes on the package came to something like $13,500. eek

Here's the trout from Surfside. Site says it went 10-1. You can see the remains of the pier in the background.

Awesome fish! By the way, I grew up around Surfside but haven't been there in about 4 years. Did the pier wash away during last years active hurricaine season?

I got the bug for the feel of the tug...on my line that is
