Anyone got one? I just got my in, and the instructions say to land the "purple" wire (Im guessing a control wire) to any circuit that is hot when the key is on.

So they want you to land it on a "constant hot" when the key is on, but couldnt I land it on a "constant hot" circuit 24/7 like my power pole hot?

Would be much easier to access...

Features "Bullcrap Technology" as seen on TV!

No, this would keep the charger turned on and possibly run batteries down. I usually connect them to the voltmeter positive, or the gas gauge wire that is hot with the key on.
