All,

Two weeks ago I purchased the Navionics Platinum Chip for the south region. I am using it on a new HDS8 with the latest software loaded from the factory. I was out on Lake Fork and Palestine this last week and it seemed like whole parts of the lakes were just missing. I've attached a picture to show what I mean for example on Lake Fork. I've also noticed these maps are really slow to load, so I don't know if that is a sign of whats wrong or if they are just slow. Is this what others see and is just the quality of the maps or is this a bad chip?

Also notice how it says "FLOODED TIMBER" but doesn't show the boundaries of the flooded timber. Is that right? I could swear I remember the older versions of these maps showing the boundaries of the flooded timber. At least some symbology would be quite nice because reading while running is a pain in the backside. I've checked and it appears I have all data enabled.

I had mine on Fork this weekend and saw the same thing. I even downloaded the latest update before we went, otherwise it was awesome.
