I, and my fishing buddy might be going carp & buffalo fishing at Lake Whitney this upcoming week Lord willing, so this leaves the question. Where's a good place anymore to go down there to fish for carp & buffalo, bank or boat with the lake being down 12ft?
I don't hardly get to fish for these species much like I used to, but I used to fish for them in the past at McCown Park Lake Whitney. So I am looking for some ideas and opinions on where to go that might be productive; and I hope its going to be like the good ole times again! If we get to go, I will post a report on how it comes out. helpsign

I'd look for a state park or other camping area in the lower third of the lake (not knowing Lake Whitney...).
There still ought to be plenty of water at Lake Whitney State Park.

The carp were thick everywhere on the south end of the lake a few weeks back you shouldn't have a problem finding any!
