 Blue Crab - What is best time of the month?

I have heard over the years that the moon phase makes a big difference in when you should go crabbing. Any truth to it? Is the best tide low or high? or any other help would be great. I know a good spot or 2 and just want to have the best shot of catching enough crab to make it worth wild. Thanks

full moon is supposed to be the fullest time...

I have found that the best time catch them is when the tide is coming in. I get there at lowest point of low tide so I can take advantage of all the incoming tide. They seem to come in the fastest about the first 3 hours of an incoming tide then level off some. Usually by high tide it gets pretty slow.

any time i have luck even when i do not want to catch them there every where--- dont worry ull ctch a bunch hoop net trap string with a chicken neck any way u fish for them ull catchum
