I was thinking about hitting the Llano this sunday...anyone have any reports on river level. Looked on USGS and it looks low (figured w/ drout) but this river normally can be run even when it's low.
Just wondered if anyone has been on it lately...?

Haven't been down there in a while, but I was reading the Llano paper online and they're worried about it running dry downstream of the dam in Llano. Maybe you could call or e-mail Keller's store or the Castell Store or the Llano RV park and get some local info. Good luck, that's my favorite river.

call the city of Mason.325 347 6449.We were there not to long ago and the water was fine.If its running any at all you will be ok.
Canoes, too, are unobtrusive; they don't storm the natural world or ride over it, but drift in upon it as a part of its own silence. (John Graves)

When a river is dry it's easy picking in the pools. Kind of unfair but still fun.
