A guide buddy of mine sez the lake is fishing very good and he's got pictures to prove it...not the 20 pounders, but nice fish anyway. Personally, I'd like to see the limit on stripers lowered to 5/day for box fish, with all overs released... just my opinion. Kinda like the way they recovered the redfish from over fishing down on the Coast...
I need to fish the River a bit more than I have been doing. Talked with a guy last weekend who says he gets gets results all the way to the 75 bridge and below there for several miles...

A buddy up the street had good 2 man limits 1st part of last week up to 7-8lbs 3 evenings running, down by the dam ... until the last front system cleared all the bumpy weather out Wed morning... and Wed evening 3 of us almost skunked! The generators were also running Wed from early PM to 10 and the water was glass when we put in about 6:30.
Typical 100* summertime pattern as I remember it. Ron
