The ones they stocked on Grapevine last year are getting bigger. I have one in the photo section from Friday and that is the second one I have caught in the last month.

Can catch em in canyon too. Deeper water on rock piles and ledges I caught some on topwater recently at sunset.

Oh, Stump.....the fishing Tues was slow but that storm complex that put out the Plantersville fire hit Belton Tues night and left heavy clouds and light winds Wed am. We caught fish up until noon or so on Spbs and Crkbaits. Mainly on the main lake points in the mid lake area. Thursday we got out early and caught some spots all in a small area related to trees in the water. Water was beautiful down south but the fish we caught were mid lake where there was a little more color in the water. Lake Belton was in great shape, only 5 ft or so low.

Caught two more today at Bridgeport during the media tournament. Neither one were big enough to weigh, but not by much.
Cranking and dragging a craw today.

caught one yesterday at Lake Belton, fishing a rockslide with a jig. Largemouth bite was on early under the overcast on soft plastics, zoom super hawg green pumpkin,but when the sun shined through they went deep, real deep, and I went home, real home.real quick!!! hot-hot-hot!
