I do not know about the place that you are buying your boat from, but I can tell you that you are buying a great boat. I have owned my 20' skippy for close to 20 years. I plan on restoring and repowering her. What size are you buying?

I am buying a 262 Skipjack. I am getting the volvo d6 350 hp. and what really made me fall in love with the boat was the genset and A/C in the salon and at the helm plus the interior space. I found teh 26 has close to teh same cockpit space as most 30 ft sportfishers. I am very excited to get her Texas. Where do you use your Skipjack? Are there that many Skipjack owners in tn Texas?

I use my skippy out of california where there are common. I use a 19ft Proline CC in Texas. I have seen only one in texas.
When you take delivery of her take some pics and know that I am more than willing to cover her deck in fish blood
