If you buy on Amazon right now you can get it for $211 with the surfboard mounts. It's cheaper than the "Naked" version from the GoPro website and you get more mounts.

I prefer the Kodak Playsport, which is also waterproof but less expensive and less bulky.

I prefer the Kodak Playsport, which is also waterproof but less expensive and less bulky. The GoPro fits in the palm of your hand. I hardly consider that bulky. I can also mount it to my head, like a head lamp, mount it to my chest, helmet, and many more options as well. You can also set it to take a picture every 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, or 60 seconds, which can create some neat action shots. You can also dive deeper underwater with it. And if you manage to break the casing, which is hard to do, you simply buy a new casing which is not very expensive.

Which one sounds more bulky? the go pro is much thicker than the playsport. The playsport can easily fit in a pocket while the go pro is like a brick in your pocket.

I never put it in my pocket so I guess that's not a problem for me. Every camera has it's flaws but if you have been eyeing the GoPro, this is a good deal.
