After so many months with hardly anything, were finally getting some good rain!
All the creeks and rivers that Ive been were heavily stained and stagnant. The bass that Ive been catching were getting fewer and smaller.
After a day or two of rain, my fishing trips get way better! The waters are cooler, forage washes into the creeks to instigate feeding.
Im really excited.
I hope its giving aid to our Texas firefighters combating the wildfires and make all things that grown a luscious green once again.

We got a good soaking here in San Antonio. This rain was very badly needed. I checked out several local creeks in the San Antonio Area after the rain and they looked so much better. Lord knows what would have happened if we did not get that rain. We can still use a lot more. On a good note Creek fishing should be very good the next few weeks!

South Texas got a pretty good soaking. We can still use a lot more! Like Banker stated it would have been one very bad summer for the Creeks and ponds if not for the rain we got. Pray for more!
