Waded the Baycliff flats today from 10-2. Light winds, pretty murky water. Lots of surface activity and pelicans diving. No slicks or gulls working. Worked shrimp under a popping cork, staw/crm Kelly wigglers, two top waters and Berkley gulp new penny shrimp. What did I get for my efforts? One 5" croaker and lots of cuts and scrapes from two falls on some underwater rocks. Still, it was at least a good day to practice technique and the shrimp will be consumed shortly.
