Went offshore on the Capt John party boat out of Galveston June 2nd and the boat limited out with 158 King Mackeral. It was the best King fishing my son's and I have ever experienced. They were swarming like sand bass at every stop we made and were chasing big blue runner bait fish which were quite large themselves. When you put the bait in the water, boom they slammed it hard! We even saw this huge King gobble up one of the dying undersized red snapper that was thrown back. The seas were as calm as we've ever seen them too which made for an extremely pleasant ride. I've got all kinds of pictures and even a short mpeg of my son catching one on my site.
