I go shark fishing 2 weeks out of the year and was wanting to know some ideas from experience......What is the best bait when casting(not kayaking) for sharks in the 4+ foot range? I mainly use cut and live whiting...and have caught 30 in one day before...but just not alot with size. I know you will catch alot of smaller sharks when surf fishing...but I was just wondering what baits work best when targeting bigger sharks. I will be surf fishing in Beaufort, South Carolina. So...Also...What type of sharks besides blacktips will you think I will be catching....and what size?

Jack Crevalle heads or the whole danged fish. Stingrays work very well too.

if you can get ladyfish, they work. cut them into about 1/3's.
