 Best numbers lake in East Texas

I really want to get my brother on some good action. What lake in your opinion consistently produces the most numbers. I'm leaning towards Athens based on reading some things on this forum about it being a pretty easy to fish lake. I would prefer a lake within an hour of Tyler. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Depends on the fishermen and their knowledge of the body of water they are fishing. I can flat out catch them hand over fist at Fork right now. There is only 4 or 5 other lakes I know real good but I have not been on them since Fork is producing so well. Generally speaking...Cypress Springs, Winnsboro, and Cedar Creek are all good for numbers right now. Put the trolling motor down and flip docks. Unless you know where the structure is...don't count on any size. Also, the dam is usually phenomenal on all 3 with medium diving cranks.

There is usually a lot of trashy women swimming at Lake Tyler on the weekends. I'm sure yall could get some good action there
