A buddy and I have a one day trip planned next week and need a little general advice. I haven't been down there in about 10 years and was wondering how the lake is fishing right now. Are topwaters working early? Do we need to stay deep most of the day? I've read on here that most of the grass is gone. I'm not asking for anyone's gps coordinates...just a little help so we don't waste the day fishing the wrong pattern.

Tons of very detailed guide reports have been posted recently, Fatheree even tells you where there is some grass coming back.

Thanks. I'm kinda new on here and don't really have the search function down real well. Do I just do a search for lake fork guide reports?
