It is a proven bait that catches fish in many different ways; weightless, pinch weight on nose, weighted swim hook, carlonia rig and drop shot. Think he is refering to the fluke not the banjo minnow. Depends... HOW MUCH SLACK? IT'S ALL ABOUT THAT DAGGUM' SLACK! You need to try that new lure -- the DAGGUM CLACKIN' SLACK!!! Only if I get over 100 pieces for only $19.99. And it must come with one that glows in the dark or I ain't buyin'!

My buddy just bought some too...I told him over and over again, DO NOT BUY FISHING LURES from infommercials, but he didnt listen...its a scam and waste of money.....
I bought HELICOPTER Lures many many years ago...
I still want to beat up Jimmy Houston...I lost all respect for him after that, and started watching Bill Dance.

it was roland martin that pimped the helicopter lures......and i am another one that bought the banjo lures.....i have caught my fair share of bass on em.....they work especially well on schoolers.......i like em........

My son uses the banjo and it works for him. I saw one of my coworkers at Bethany Lakes in Allen a few weeks ago, and he said he had caught one bass all day. My son caught ten bass and two channel cats in about an hour with his banjo. The coworker went to cabelas and got the banjo and caught six the next day. Banjo at Bethany

I have a set of banjo minnows that were given to me as a gift. One of my best fish to date was caught on the "free" 5" glow in the dark one... no joke. I keep them around to throw if nothing else is working but I have had way better luck on 3.5" and 5" bass assassins and the zoom finesse/trick worms.

Putting all of the infomercial hype aside, it doesn't look like a bad bait necessarily. Can't see any reason it wouldn't catch fish in the right conditions. Will it be the last lure you ever need? Uhhhhhh.......NO.
