New PB(Very out of place) River Carpsucker!  I caught it fishing for stripers with a rattletrap. I guess it sucked it up like buffs occasionally do. It was a little over 6lbs  I caught it off of a point in about 4 feet of water. Here's the rest of the report. 6lb? Is that an accurate weight, and did you get it measured, or weighed on a certified scale? Cause, state record river carp sucker is 3.39lbs lol.

Not sure if you can for a state record. Maybe water body, but not sure about state.
Great fish either way man. I've heard of them being caught up to 12lbs or so, but not sure how accurate those reports were.
Yours definitely looks bigger then 3.5 lol.

It fought like a beast too! When I hooked it it was ripping drag like crazy. It wrapped me up in the trolling motor 4 times and took about 3 tries to finally get it in the net. On the first run I thought I had a big striper.
