I had the fortune to spend a week camping at Lake Fork with my 2 teenage boys and we had Mark Pack as our guide on Monday and the rest of the week we fished out of a portabote with a 6 hp outboard and oars. If you ever get a chance to fish with Mark Pack, jump on it as we had the best bass fishing experience of our lives. Not only did Mark put us on fish, but he also showed us many different techniques and how to fish deep. We learned more from him in one day than I could have ever anticipated and my boys were in awe of getting to fish with one of the legends on Fork. Mark even helped us out by showing us some spots to fish on our own for the rest of the week and we really appreciated that as we took what we learned from him and were able to catch some good fish later in the week. 40 minute boat rides in the portabote, 100 degree temps, and some days high winds but we kept at it and had a great week with all 3 of us getting our personal bests. I think Mark has those bass trained as we tried some different well known baits on Carolina rigs but the only thing we got bit on was LFT Hyper Sticks. Thanks again Mark for helping make our week a good one and treating me and my boys above and beyond what is expected of a guide!

Way to go Mark for puttin' em' on them. And way to go dad for memories that will last a life time!
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Mark kept us cracked up the whole time with his quotes but I think the best one came after my boys where trying to get used to the feel of a C-rig in 30+ft of water and were setting the hook on everything that resembled a bite.
