 Sam Rayburn Deep Water Pattern?

I have always fished shallow usually not more than 10 ft. No experience on fishing deep patterns.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to catch fish on Sam Rayburn on spoons and other deep patterns. I keep seeing guys post about the action on Fork in the deeper water how bout rayburn?

Sometimes they are deep, sometimes they are not.. depends on the Oxygen level. Last week-end Fish were in 6 inches of water to five feet of water. There were no fish in 12-18ft of water. There were a few in 20-25 foot of water.
Use your electronics and figure it out because that will change from day to day. When find them at a certain depth, it will usually be the same anywhere on the lake.

Thanks for the info.
I have always caught fish with my dad and I am trying to learn on my own now. just getting the hang of the electronics.
