I think there needs to be a slot on Falcon. An angler can only keep 5 fish between 25 to 30 inches.

Fork is proof is does not work Falcon can hang with Fork day in day out. Fork should not be a slot I think it would be alot better lake. So no leave Falcon alone no TP&W please!!!!!

Falcon could probably use a few more fish being harvested out of it.

Harvest isn't hurting anything.

I enjoyed it the way it is this spring. By far the best bass lake I've been on. I grew up fishing fork and love it, but Falcon was just unbelievable. I'm chomping at the bit to get back down there.

Beleive me we are getting more harvest than you might think. I see lines at the cleaning stations and they are cutting heads off of 8 pounders. The problem down here is the ones that fill their freezers with no respect for the possession limit. Ten is all you can pack up. A few from out of state got popped last year for having a freezer full and it cost hem $2500 each . I wish they would have restricked them for a Tex Lis. Follow the legal limits and I do not have a problem if someone wants to keep fish

Several times this year I watched netters up in the shallows over on the Mexican side put way more bass then talapia into their tubs. This lake has survived what pressure it gets without more influence from "Big Brother". If anything it wouldnt hurt if tournaments took it on themselfs to lower limits when the weather is stupid hot. Probably would not have a huge impact on the success of the lake but at least we would not be killing so many "best five". But we don't more laws governing whats not broke. IMHO

They have been filleting, eating, and netting for years. Low water, high water and all in between. Hasn't hurt it YET! There is something "special" about the conditions at Falcon. They grow fast, mean, and big. My thoughts are "Leave it alone!"

Y'all complain too much. Just have fun, isn't that what fishing is all about? At least most of you have the ability to fish these excellent fisheries from a boat.

What's slot? Are you allowed to take fish inside the slot, or outside the slot?
Falcon is getting too much attentiion,....too many fisherpersons. Please don't introduce gators.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

If they put a slot on it, They will screw it up the same way they did Fork. Fork used to be king. Now it is the Joker compared to Falcon, Ivie and Amistad.

If TPWD stocked these lake the way they do Fork, They would be ten times better than they are now.

Nobody wants to do anything about Fork, But nobody wants a slot On Falcon. THey guys up on fork are saying let's keep our fishery half arsed so no one will come fish it and we can keep it to ourselves. Their one sightedness cracks me up, yet frustrates me when I know I could be catching 10+ pound fish regularly if the would go back on the slot a little.

That's about the biggest buncha hogwash I've ever seen typed on here. Fork is the Joker??? And the "guys" are saying let's keep Fork mediocre? I'm sorry, but you need a reality check.

Ivie has never been able to compete with Fork on total numbers of big fish. Yes, they've led the SAL donations the last year because the lake is super low and the fish are much more concentrated. If this drought persisits, Ivie may be dry by this time next year. And Amistad??? Amistad hasn't been all that good the last few years. Fork is still kicking out tons of 10lb+ fish and tons of quality fish. I'm no expert on fisheries so I will leave that up to the pros to decide why Fork is not producing as many teenagers. Falcon lake is the BEST public bass fishery in the world right now. Fork is still #2 for total numbers of quality fish in Texas, based upon my experience.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

I agree with fouzman completely. Ivie has always kicked out some really big fish but has never been noted for producing numbers of fish.

I'm athinking someone is smoking some kind of funny tabaccy.

Fouz...would have to disagree with you on one point...

The reason there are a lot of double digit fish being caught is because there are a lot of fish in that age range right now on Ivie. Big spawns and Florida stockings are what we are catching. Lake level doesnt have much to do with it in my opinion. Lake level is going to hurt spawns and future fishing for us without any measurable runoff soon.
