Prayers sent !!!.

Thank you guys for your prayers. We are still at Childrens Hospital in Dallas. So here is what happened. Our 5 year old and 9 year old were playing by the lake edge on Tuesday afternoon with another 7 year old friend. They decided it would be fun to play throw the dead catfish they found at each other. It was my 5 year olds turn first and he's got deadly aim. He threw the catfish and stuck the fin as deep as it would go in his sister. The puncture of the fin entered her leg and literally went through her femur artery. We rushed her to the local E.R. but they would not touch it. They put her on a helicopter and flew her to childrens. When we arrived at the hospital we were informed they had contacted a team of vascular surgeons to perform an emergency surgery. The surgery took 3 hours and they graphed from a vien and was able to rerpair the artery. So far we have had no complications other that a mild fever yesterday. The doctors are telling us that she should come home on Friday. Today she was able to get out of bed and use a walker and walk around some. We expect a full recovery very soon. And no more throwing catfish for the Rollins kids!

Wow, that's crazy Chuck! I'm glad your daughter is doing ok and prayers sent for her recovery. I saw the pictures on Facebook and that was a mean fin!

AMEN to that Chuck! It's great to see those kids (or grand kids) outside playing instead of inside glued to a cell phone or a video game but when one is in danger or Heaven forbid, gets hurt, everyone better "Get Outta Th Way!" Glad she's doing better.

would like to be right not but it is an awesome hospital.

Sounds like somethings my brothers and sisters and me did when we were kids. I am very thankful she is okay. Conyinued prayers for the Rollins clan.

Wow cant imagine the pain and fear this incident caused. Sorry to hear this happened to such a great family, but certainly glad to hear all is going well. The prayer train will continue until full recovery is reached. Keep us updated Chuck, and let us know if you need any help.Come on prayer train we are not at the station yet.
