Yeah, thanks.
Ive been swapping bandages twice a day and putting neosporin. Its healing up nicely and been making sure I'm not developing some infection.
I often fish alone, so I couldn't do the "string snap method".

I have had two. Ran one through and clipped. Turned the other over 180* and backed it out.

I stuck a chatterbait in the meaty part of my right hand just left of the thumb. I was reaching for a fish when the hook popped out.
I could'nt get it out so went to the ER. 4 hours and $700 later I was back home.
The hook going in did'nt hurt but the shots at the ER hurt like crazy.

Every time I catch a fish on a bait that has multiple treble hooks i use fish grips and pliers to get the hooks out. That way I dont have to worry about this

Pulling out triple grips sucks too. Saturday evening, me and my new step brother, and his buddy were fishing my little honey hole when I go to lip a bass with a 2.5 square bill and forgot that treble hooks suck lol. Needless to say, I dropped the fish and caught one right in the wedding ring finger knuckle. I told his buddy to pull it out and he reached for the fish... Yes the fish. He ended up grabbing my needle nose and yanking it out. I didn't feel a thing. It's surprising that those little nicks you catch the hook hurt way more than it embedding deep.
