Doing some night kayak fishing this Friday at Lake Raven and would appreciate any pointers. I really don’t know that much about fishing, I usually just fish off the bank using worms and a simple $20.00 rod / reel set up I got from Academy years ago...will this bait work for Raven lake or should I get a different type of bait? I also assume there is nothing wrong with fishing from the boat at night?
PS anyone know what the water level is like right now?

You know that lake is FULL of Gators right? Its great fishing, but I wouldn't be caught dead/alive in a kayak after dark out there.

Don't fall out at night all that splashing around no way brother you can have that. Gators feed at night so good luck give us a report when you get back.
