I sorta put a little spin but not quite like throwing a freezbee,just enough to make it spred,course I had to practice for about 29 yrs.a good net helps.be sure to reverse the left hand when placing the net in the right hand.good luck and come by for a lesson.allways like to meet a new friend and fisherman. thanks

I am the same as most of you and have not been very good with the bigger nets. I had the priveledge of being at Mel's house and he had me throwing the very first time. Thanks Mel and I will call you soon to go fishing.

Thanks for the video. New to catfishing and only useing punch bait. I want to try shad but can't master the cast net. What is the best size and type to start of with. Mr Mel you are a true master at the cast net and thanks for sharing.
